Teachers
Hello,
I met James in September 2016, when he came to house sit for a month in Todos Santos, Baja California Sur, Mexico. Where I have a Spanish School, when he found out about the school he immediately contacted me.
I was very impressed with his level of Spanish. As a teacher for 15 years I felt that his lexic was astounding, his verb tenses were very properly used and he knew a lot of the regionalisms, jokes etc.
As a student, he was very focus, goal oriented, neat and organize. Something that I also noticed was that in class he would help with very easy and concrete explanations to help understand other students in class.

Re: Teacher Application: Mr. James Ranney
Dear sirs,
LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION: JAMES RANNEY (TEACHING POSITION IN SANTIAGO DE CHILE)
It is with pleasure that I recommend Jim Ranney for the teaching position he has applied for. We have been interacting with Jim as English teacher and as student of ours (prepping for the Spanish DELE A2 exam, which he passed). With our mutual interest in language teaching, we’ve been exchanging tutorial materials. Jim is a natural communicator, who gets along easily with people – also because of his sunny, positive disposition. His love of language is always evident, and his practical, no-fuss “real world” approach is a boon to those with whom he interacts as tutor and learner. His own study of Spanish has given him valuable insights into, and personal comprehension of the challenges involved in learning a foreign language, which stands him in good stead when he has to teach English to Hispanic students.
Sincerely
Willem Steenkamp D. Litt. et Phil.

To whomsoever it may concern,
I am honoured to write a reference letter for my great English teacher Mr. James Ranney whom I have known since the past 2 years.
He is one of the best I know. James is a true optimist, and it is his positive attitude that helps me accomplish my goal. He is a patient, intelligent and kind person who has taught me to get me goal in English, so I have been able to pass the exam in Barcelona.
I have been able to improve my pronunciation from an authentic native, to improve my listening, vocabulary and grammar too. In an excellent atmosphere by Skype.
He has been my Skype teacher for one year and I can’t imagine any other way without James.
For all the reasons, I would definitely recommend James for an English teacher that requires enthusiasm, hard work, honestly, and perfection.
If you need to know any more about James, please feel free to contact me.
Sincerely,

Dear Sirs,
This is to notify you that James Ranney worked with me several years ago to prepare for my board exams in medicine in the European Union. James was proficient in practicing patient care exercises using proper medical terminology.
He researched and used books like;
“Medical English Clear and Simple” and also” English for Medical Purposes: Doctors”
We reviewed medical journal articles I had written with my team for corrections to the English. He found articles about my specialty on the web and we practiced with those also.
James has good interpersonal, communication skills. Hence, he is able to build a professional bond with students and his language exchange partners. He is proficient, organized, and always punctual.
Overtime we became friends and enjoyed a visit when he came to Napoli several years ago.
I hope that you consider my recommendation and employ James Ranney for the post of teacher of English. I would like to thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Daniela Rega MD

To whom it may concern,
I highly recommend James Ranney as a candidate for the position of English teacher at your school. I have had the pleasure of speaking with, and practicing with James for the past three years. As an intercambio and a friend I find James to be driven and organized as a teacher.
James has been driven to develop his skills as a teacher. He follows the CEFR guidelines for testing and has used books from CAE and Destinations in the past. We have both had successes in tests and have followed each other for James A2 in Spanish, and myself up to C1 in English.
James has shown a wonderful rapport with me and I believe he would be good with people of all ages, including children. His ability to connect and his talent at teaching simple concepts, as well as more advanced topics, are both truly superior. He also has excellent written and verbal communication skills with both professionals and grade schoolers.
James accomplishes all these tasks with great initiative and with a positive attitude.
I recommend James to you without reservation. If you have any further questions with regard to his background or qualifications, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Sincerely,
Usoa Solabarria Moreno

First of all, I have to say that I met him two years ago and he taught me English. I have been learning English for many years but thanks to him I feel myself that currently I can speak better and more fluency than the time before.
