Paris the City of Lights
City Overview
Lingering over pain au chocolat in a sidewalk cafe, relaxing after a day of strolling along the Seine and marveling at icons like the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe, the perfect Paris experience combines leisure and liveliness with enough time to savor both an exquisite meal and exhibits at the Louvre.
Paris has many nicknames, but its most famous is “La Ville-Lumiere” (“The City of Light”) direct translation is ” The City of Enlightenment”, a name it owes both to its fame as a center of education and ideas and its early adoption of street lighting.”

Nice overview after a long flight…
Train to Central… Transfer from CDG Terminal 1 to the main rail hub – and then into Paris. If you are coming from Terminal 3 you do not need to take the shuttle which is in the first part of the video. If you are coming Terminal 2, you can walk to the train station and then take RER B into Paris.

I recommend starting with a food tour in the first few days and getting oriented to your area and finding the places you want to go back to in the coming days. I have had great success with Devour Food Tours in several European cities and highly recommend them. They meet in the 3rd Arrondissement(Near the Louvre).

Post Script
It is incredibly difficult to write a quick guide for this city. 1, 3, or 5 days is never enough time.
